Palazzo Nibio is a historic palace built in 1576 that belonged to the Genoese merchant Domenico Niggio. It was subsequently purchased by the Marquis del Vasto and after his death in 1593, his wife Lavinia della Rovere, instead of living in Palazzo D’Avalos, preferred Nibio. After her death, in the 18th century, the palace was used as military barracks, called “Quartiere” and only later was purchased by the Cardone family.
The objective of the renovation was to maintain and enhance the original architectural elements of the 16th century but at the same time use the most modern technologies regarding electrical, hydraulic and thermal systems and structural improvement. We followed the planning, the construction management of the renovation, the management and coordination of the various companies that took part in the works as well as all the bureaucratic and administrative part connected to it.
